The back cover made the book sound awesome.

Personally, I found myself wishing that we could have seen more of Conn’s experiences on the Roman slave ship since that appears to be the betrayal that presumably ruin Hy is so much to say about this novel.

Generally, Teresa Medeiros explores the thin line between love and hate with a keen eye, but readers may find the multiple chapters of mutual abuse between these two rather unsavory. And though I sympathized with her at the beginning and was glad Conn didn’t exact justice, I almost hated her after betraying him severely.

What I didn’t like about this book was that it was so misleading.

Lady of Conquest is splendid! Conn rides out alone to face a seemingly invincible foe, never dreaming he will find a grief-maddened conquet with emerald eyes and hair like liquid flame…. And, it’s not as if Gelina didn’t have any feelings for him, she was already in love with him and in that ‘semi-rape’ scene she did encourage him to some extent, that’s why I called it thus.

Brides of Legend 2. I did find it hard to believe that he would not have guessed it was Gelina at the party, not many women were as tall as her. Back at Tara, Gelina develops a crush on the man who allowed her to live when he could have taken her life.

The way that Medeiros sets up some of these scenes is nothing short of masterful. Just got to be too much. And though he did make mistakes where she was concerned and made some unjust accusations, he was by the more victim in this story.

The story was very well detailed and TM did a great job of transporting you back to that time. A Day for Love. At every turn, she doesn’t get the just sentence to her actions!! I’ve read other books by Teresa Medeiros, but it only hit me with this cnoquest that she has a habit of pushing the envelope.

The story is set in the beautiful land of Erin Ireland during the first couple of centuries after the birth of Christ.

I also had to stop at the development of Gelina’s character. Makes me wanna think what is actually goin’ on between them? Ok, a lot of book left Defiant in heresa Viking’s Bed. Soon, Gelina begins to see a different side of Conn and his fellow men.

I usually love Medeiros’ books but this one seriously disappointed me with the weak, wishy-washy, and not loyal lead characters.
